Ever since the CDU celebrated its election victory to the sound of the Toten Hosen, it has been clear that the lines between politics and pop have never been as ambiguous as they are today. ROLLING STONE wanted to know more - and asked the members of the German Bundestag about their favorite records. To find out to what extent a band's commitment can still be a political statement today and how Germans' taste in music is reflected in parliament. It is the first survey of its kind. More than 200 top politicians took part. So, Mr. Steinmeier and Ms. Wagenknecht: what's going on with you? Some of the answers were surprising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
